The History of Sonora Hills English Springer Spaniels
I began breeding English Springer Spaniels in 2013 for people who knew and loved this breed and were looking to adopt a Springer puppy. My objective was to find totally unrelated Springer Spaniels to breed healthy, happy puppies. I found wonderful Springer puppies from New York, Ohio, Missouri, Texas and California. You will see a variety of colors and markings on Springers from previous litters sent to me by their owners on my Puppy Pictures page.
A few years later I began getting inquiries about Tri colored Springer Spaniels and Roan Springers. Sadie, a Black-Tip Sable (a subset of Black-Tri) came from California. I added Skylar from New York and Sparky from Texas. Skylar is a Liver and White Roan and Sparky is a Black-Tri Roan.
Roans come from Europe. Skyler's lineage is from Poland and Sparky's lineage is from the Czech Republic. Willow, who is a Black-Tip Sable Roan, is the daughter of Sadie and Sparky and belongs to Jim, my brother, who moved to Sonora in 2019 and has been assisting me with my Sonora Hills ESS breeding program. He is a life long canine lover. Willow had her first litter with Skylar November 13, 2024 under Jim's supervision.

- GENETIC AND OFA TESTING
- Our Dams and Sires have been tested for 215 genetic markers by the Embark Co. and their hips and elbows screened for proper placement by the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) to ensure their puppies will be as healthy as possible.
- Our puppies are very playful, eager to please and very intelligent. In addition, our puppies have stunning color combinations and markings.
- PUPPIES
- Springer Spaniel puppies require daily affection and exercise. They love to fetch balls or frisbees on land or water and go for walks. Each puppy comes with FULL AKC registration paperwork. Dew Claws are removed and Tails will be docked or left natural. If you desire a natural tail, I must be told prior to the puppies birth. Full payment is required.
- At the time a puppy goes home he/she is up to date with his/her immunizations and has been dewormed twice. A blanket with mom's scent and a toy is also given. A 4lb bag of food the puppy has been eating will also be given so adjusting to a different food goes smoothly.
- A one-year health guarantee or money back and a signed contract between Sonora Hills ESS and the new owner is provided. You will also receive copies of the puppy's pedigree.
